Performance Coaching
Coaching on Call offers performance coaching both via telephone and face to face. We encourage the line manager to be included to ensure alignment with objectives and agreed measures for success.
When would performance coaching be appropriate?
Situations where performance coaching is useful include the need for:
- Raising competence and confidence in demonstrating specific skills and behaviours
- Resolving interpersonal issues that are affecting productivity or morale
- Working on action plans following appraisal or 360 degree feedback
- Supporting an under-performing individual or team to build on their strengths
- Developing a more sophisticated or commercial mindset
- Dealing with a significant challenge
- Managing the pressures of change
Our approach
Our approach is practical and positive, supporting individuals and teams to work to their strengths while building personal resilience and effectiveness.
We do not consider performance coaching to be 'remedial' or about 'fixing' people.
In a situation where somebody is under-performing compared to their potential, we help the individual to understand their motivation, build on their strengths and include their line manager in aligning performance with deliverables that are appropriate to their abilities and motivation.
